Documentary filmmaker Gil Gufman (Jack Forbes) believes he has found the devil, and his name is Norman Garnish (Sean Sellars). Norman appears on the exterior as an ordinary member of society, but when Gil takes a step into Norman’s world, he finds a treasure-chest of stories about Norman’s past incarnations, including his encounters with Noah, Moses, and a short love affair with Eve while Adam’s back was turned.

Norman has a small band of wacky, albeit loyal, employees who believe in his cause and assist him in “defeating the Lord’s work” on a daily basis. They do their work through H.A.M.E. (Humans Against Morality & Ethics), where they buy people’s souls with lottery tickets and overweight supermodels.

Norman is represented by his sleazy agent, Lou “Diamond” Bossanova (Tommy Giavocchini), who books Norman on gigs ranging from soon to be cancelled TV talk shows to arts and crafts day at the old age home. Lou manages to take Norman’s book, ‘A Devil’s Memoirs,’ and turn it into a best selling comedy, much to Norman’s chagrin. Through all this Norman tries vainly to get his message out.

The bright spot in Norman’s life is his relationship with his fiancé, Natalie (Christine Blackburn). She respects his fate in life and believes in his cause, although she is a little ditsy herself. She does have a problem with that “Eve” person her soon-to-be-husband once dated. This film is a hilarious, fun ride that spins a unique and comedic twist on the concept of the devil.
